Library: Building 4

The Marshall W. Hamilton Library (Bldg. 4) offers a wealth of resources necessary for support of student learning both on site and online. The Library features Wi-Fi access indoors and out. Online resources consist of the Library’s catalog, full-text periodical databases, electronic books, email reference, and electronic renewal of library materials.


Sentinel Cafe: Building 9

The Sentinel Cafe serves breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The cafe is located in the Student Center (Bldg. 9).


Sentinel Food Pantry

North Florida College stands with our students who are struggling to focus on their studies due to food insecurity. We know that you cannot learn when you are hungry and the pressure to maintain a household can be overwhelming. Please don't give up! Student Counseling Services: Building 10, Room 14

The SCS is a confidential FREE service offered to current students at North Florida College (current NFC identification badge required; must be 18 or have custodial consent). SCS provides assessment and short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals through Resolutions Health Alliance (RHA) of Lake City, Florida.


Disability Resource Center: Building 6

NFC delivers services to students with disabilities as established by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The legal requirements set forth in those acts ensure equal access to educational opportunities through reasonable modifications in college policies, practices, and/or procedures. The following is a partial list of services that can be rendered to students with a documented disability.


Student Ombudsman

The Student Ombudsman provides all NFC students with a safe, confidential place to bring questions and concerns about College rules, policies, or procedures. The Ombudsman assists students in navigating College policies and procedures and understanding the student’s rights and responsibilities.


Veterans Affairs: Building 3

NFC is approved for training of veterans by the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs. Veterans and dependents of veterans eligible for educational benefits must be approved by the VA Regional Office. Upon approval, benefits may take up to 90 days to be received.


Virtual Bookstore: Building 2

Textbooks are now ordered through the NFC Virtual Bookstore. The Virtual Bookstore is accessible from the NFC website home page - www.nfc.edu. For assistance with textbooks orders, visit the Advising Center in Building 2 or call (850) 973-9437.
