Federal College Work-Study Program (FCWSP)

The Federal College Work-Study Program (FCWSP) is a federally funded employment program that helps eligible students earn money to pay for educational expenses through part-time work on the North Florida College campus.

Program Highlights

  • Work Hours: Qualifying students may work up to 15 hours per week, based on available funding
  • Eligibility Requirements:
    • Must have a minimum 2.0 GPA
    • Must maintain a 67% course completion rate
    • Must be Pell Grant eligible
    • Must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

About the role:

  • We ars seeking a highly motivated and experienced teachers to join our team in Jennings, FL. As a teacher, you will support children's school readiness by providing a safe, culturally and linguitically responsve, and developmentally appropriate Head Start classroom environment.

Qualifications:

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) or state equivalency.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching in a classroom setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and improve educational programs
