Dual Enrollment

Academic Dual Enrollment

Academic Dual Enrollment lets eligible high school and home education students take real college courses—at no cost—while still in high school. These classes count both toward your high school graduation and toward a college credit certificate, associate degree, or even bachelor’s degree later on.

If you want to get a head start on your college journey but still keep a flexible high school schedule, this option is perfect for you.

  • Take up to 11 college credit hours per term
  • Earn credits that move with you as you pursue your educational goals
  • Explore subjects you’re excited about while experiencing college life early

This is your chance to challenge yourself, build confidence, and save time (and money!) on your future degree.

Academic Early Admissions

Ready to go all in? Early Admission is a full‑time dual enrollment option for eligible high school students who want to spend their senior year completely immersed in college classes. All courses count toward both your high school diploma and your associate degree.

With Early Admission, you will:

  • Enroll in 12–15 college credit hours per term
  • Experience college full‑time while still being a high school student
  • Stay eligible to participate in high school athletics
  • Build momentum toward graduating with your AA degree sooner

Students who wish to take more than 15 credit hours can do so with approval from Dual Enrollment & Early College Programs. It’s an empowering way to step into your future and experience the independence of college early while still having support from both your high school and NFC.
