Capital City Bank Awards $2000 to NFC Foundation
Capital City Bank Group Foundation Supports Education
MADISON, FL - North Florida College received a $2000 donation from the Capital City
Bank Group Foundation in September 2019. The generous gift benefits nursing programs
and student training opportunities at NFC. Specifically, the contributed funds will
help purchase an electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) system for NFC’s nursing simulation
lab. In the lab, students receive hands-on training and participate in simulated health
screening and emergency scenarios that well-prepare them for real-world experiences
once they enter clinical training and careers in nursing.
The Capital City Bank Group Foundation is a non-profit organization designed to invest in initiatives that contribute to building a strong community. The mission of the Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in the communities where Capital City Bank does business.
“We greatly appreciate this donation,” said Judy Lundell, Director of Resource Development at NFC. “Together, we are greatly and positively impacting our students and the communities we serve.”
