NFC Named REACH Reward Chapter by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

MADISON, FL (March 6, 2024) – North Florida College has been named a 2023 REACH Reward Chapter by the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK), recognizing NFC’s commitment to enhancing the college experience and positively impacting the lives of students through accessible PTK membership.

NFC’s PTK Chapter, named Mu Xi, received this honor among 159 PTK chapters as part of PTK’s REACH Rewards program, which celebrates and rewards excellence in chapter membership development.

In addition to this honor, NFC’s Mu Xi Chapter student members will receive graduation stoles that may be worn during graduation.

“Receiving this honor proves that NFC’s impact can be mighty,” stated Caibre Johnson, NFC Mu Xi Chapter President. “This honor recognizes that we have high-achieving individuals who are willing to join an organization that is built on scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service, which speaks volumes not only for our students, but for NFC as a whole.”

“This recognition is a direct reflection of our student leaders’ motivation to have their Chapter become great,” stated Philip Wilkerson, NFC Director of Advising, Retention, and Career Center and Mu Xi Chapter Sponsor. “They revived the induction ceremony to a level of excellence and worked hard to give PTK a stronger presence on campus.”
