Kids in College: An Innovation of Fun

Interactive and fun-filled camps are being offered as a part of the "Kids in College" summer camp program during June and July at NFC. These camps are geared for children in completed 1st through 6th grades.


Camp Descriptions

Movement Camp

Every day is about being healthy and getting active. Find out which fun, healthy activity is for you or just do it...sign up and get challenged. Comfortable clothing and athletic shoes required.

6 Weeks: Jun 13-30 and July 11-28
Time: 8:00 am - 10:00 am


Cultural Camp

Campers will have the opportunity to learn about different Hispanic countries through art, food, and myths.

1 Week: June 13-16
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm


Music Camp

Campers will be introduced to the world of music. Music Camp will join the Theatre Camp for their end of the week performances in June.

3 Weeks: June 13-30
Time: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm


Photography Camp

Campers will learn the basics of photography. Their photos will become memories of their summer of 2022. The main focus is to be expressive while having fun.

1 Week: June 20-24
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm


Public Safety Camp

Campers will get an up close and personal experience with the different Public Safety agencies that keep us safe.

1 Week: June 27-30
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm


Arts, Books & Bubbles Camp

Campers will explore the world of books and art through a variety of mediums. The main focus is to be creative while having fun.

1 Week: July 11-14
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm


Cultural Camp

Campers will have the opportunity to learn about different Asian countries through art, food, and myths.

1 Week: July 18-21
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm


Journalism Camp

Campers will learn the art of book making and creative writing.

1 Week: July 25-28
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm


STEAM Camp

Campers will have the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, art and math. They will experience through STEAM how to enjoy learning, fostering creativity, problem-solving and curiosity. STEAM Camp will join the Theatre Camp for their end of the week performances in July with a project they worked on for the week.

3 Weeks: July 11-28
Time: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm


Theatre Camp

Campers will learn the ins and outs of theatre – acting, stage crew, set design, props and costuming. End the week with a fabulous show for friends and family, complete with costumes! Perfect to introduce young children to the wonder of theatre.

6 Weeks: June 13-30, July 11-28
