MADISON, FL – North Florida College offers a Dual Enrollment program that allows students to earn college credits while still in high school or home school and at no cost. The NFC Office of Dual Enrollment is proud to feature outstanding Sentinels who are nominated by their respective guidance counselors. For February, NFC spotlights Cooper Harrell from Jefferson County Homeschool Group. He took a moment in between his home school and NFC commitments to respond to our interview:

Why did you choose to dual enroll at NFC?

I chose NFC because of its proximity to where I live.

Which class have you enjoyed the most at NFC?

So far, my favorite class has been college algebra. It's challenging, but all math is, and that's what makes it fun.

How is NFC helping you reach your goals?

NFC's staff is very easy to reach if I need help, and the online tools they give us are very easy to use, understand and provide timely support.

What are your goals after high school?

My goals after high school are to obtain a PH.D. in aerospace engineering.

Who at NFC has inspired you the most?
My math instructor, Mr. Taylor has been the best instructor I have met. He is patient, humorous and overall, just a great person.
