North Florida Community College Public Safety Academy invites Community to Flag Dedication Ceremony


Madison FL – North Florida Community College invites the public to a special Flag Dedication Ceremony at the NFCC Public Safety Academy (Bldg. 35) Thursday, October 6 at 6:00 p.m. on the NFCC campus in Madison, Fla.

Join the NFCC Public Safety Academy faculty, staff as well as current recruits and alumni alongside honored guests and special guest speaker Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart as they help honor those who serve or have ever served.

NFCC extends special thanks to the Daughters of the American Revolution for their part in the upcoming Flag Dedication Ceremony. It was through a grant provided by the Edward Rutledge Chapter in Lake City that made funding available for a new flagpole for the Public Safety Academy to be acquired and dedicated “honoring all those who serve or have served so bravely in Public Safety, Emergency Medical Services or the Military for our community and our country”.

All are invited to attend the Flag Dedication Ceremony Thursday, October 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the NFCC Public Safety Academy (building 35). There is no need to RSVP ahead of time or purchase tickets, everyone is welcome to this momentous occasion free of charge.
