NFC Foundation Winn Dixie June 2021 PhotoMADISON, FL – The North Florida College (NFC) Foundation has been selected as a beneficiary of the Community Bag Program for the month of June 2021. The Winn Dixie Community Bag Program, which launched in February 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

The NFC Foundation was selected as the June beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Winn Dixie located at 729 W Base Street in Madison, FL. The NFC Foundation will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.49 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during June, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

“The Community Bag Program is another wonderful opportunity for the community to show support of students enrolling at NFC,” said Judy Lundell, NFC Resource Development Director. “Each dollar contributed to the NFC Foundation furthers the educational opportunities available to deserving students in need who are working to complete an educational program at North Florida College.”

The NFC Foundation is a not-for-profit, IRS approved 501©(3) corporation chartered to acquire and receive gifts that support educational programs and help provide financially for the educational needs of NFC students. The mission of the North Florida College Foundation is to identify, acquire and manage assets with the utmost sincerity, honesty, integrity, competence, and transparency and to nurture and assist students in reaching their global, educational goals.
