LPN-RN Bridge Class Honored at Pinning Ceremony

MADISON, FL - North Florida Community College's LPN-RN Bridge Class of 2017 was honored during a Pinning and Lamp Lighting Ceremony on April 27, 2017. Twenty-one graduates were recognized and took part in the ceremony's Lighting of the Lamps and Reciting of the Nightingale Pledge. The pinning ceremony is a special moment for graduates and marks the beginning of each student’s career as a healthcare professional. Ronda Garner of Madison received the Academic Excellence Award. Megan Snow of Dixie, Georgia received the Clinical Excellence Award. Sarah Allen of Greenville received the Student of Excellence Award presented by South Georgia Medical Center and Katie Clark of McAlpin was honored as the 2017 Keeper of the Light. Clark will return next year to pass along the tradition to the 2018 graduating class. NFCC instructor Robin Pearson, MSN, RN was the guest speaker.
